Former Pakistani fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has undergone yet another knee surgery in Australia, his 6th in total.

The former pacer Shoaib Akhtar went through serious medical surgery on both of his knees, and there is an extreme issue in his knees; it has been happening for the beyond 11 years. Shoaib Akhtar created a video from his hospital bed; the former fast bowler for Pakistan posted the moving video with a message for his followers and fans. Shoaib rebuked them for praying for him in his recovery because he is currently in intense pain.

An extraordinary bowler is running in the extra yards all the way from the boundary, with fire in his eyes and at a speed of nearly 100 miles. Forget about facing him; only the thoughts of it would bring shivers down the spines. Such was the impact of this super attractive quick speedster called ‘Shoaib Akhtar’ on the psyche of batsmen. Many cricket legends of the previous generation have been at their receiving end. Be it, Brian Lara, be it, Sachin Tendulkar, be it Ricky Ponting, or be it, Sourav Ganguly. You name him, and Shoaib had given that batsman a taste of his balling. He was an amalgamation of raw pace, lethal bouncers, and nightmares. There was hardly anyone who got away with it.

However, his numbers don’t do justice to his ability; Shoaib, when at his best, was an outright pleasure to watch. You could sit the entire day in amazement of his stunning spells and consider the manner in which he undermined batsmen with his destructive speed and skip. With legends like Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis in a similar group, it was never going to be simple for somebody like Shoaib Akhtar to break into that Pakistan side.

The former fast bowler Shoaib well known as Rawalpindi Express said he was still in extreme pain even after 11 years of his retirement. He said that he could have played for another more 4 to 5 years. But he was aware that if he did play, he would become wheelchair-bound. He actually bid farewell to cricket for that reason.

The 46 years old fast bowler Shoaib posted a video to his Instagram page. Both of his knees have undergone surgery. He was very emotional in his video. Further, he expressed the hope that this would be his final operation, and the surgery went well. It will take some time to recover, and I need your prayers.

He mentioned his special thanks to @13kamilkhan as well; he’s a true friend who is looking after me here in Melbourne, Australia.

Shoaib Akhtar also added that his fast and express bowling during his cricket career is what caused the current state of his bones. But, the cricketer intended that it didn’t matter and that he had done it all for his nation. “If I get a chance, I will do it again,” he said.

Akhtar later shared another video, and it’s about where he was going through a post-surgical process.
Shoaib Akhtar regularly praises India for showering love on him. He also lauds Shah Rukh Khan for taking care of him while he played for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The former fast bowler Akhtar has said many times that he wants to become a “bridge” between India and Pakistan. If he could help the two countries become friends in any capacity, he said he would do it.

The legendary Pakistan pacer played 46 Tests, 14 T20Is, and 163 ODIs for his country in his entire cricket career. He successfully picked up 178 wickets in red-ball cricket and 247 in ODIs. In the T20Is, he took 21 wickets and became the first bowler in the history of cricket to clock 100 mph delivery.

Talking about what Akhtar is doing nowadays, Pakistan’s legendary fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar runs a youtube channel. He very recently came live on his channel and reminded the critics of Virat Kohli that he did not score those 70 international hundreds in his “aunt’s backyard” or while playing the mobile game “candy crush.

Shoaib’s inceptive diagnostic X-ray reports that his upper leg bone or the femur was grinding one of his lower leg bones, the tibia. Shoaib’s doctors believe that bowling with his knees at such a high pace for almost a decade was mind-boggling, but he did it, and that too with sheer resolute.

This is a common happening among sportspersons or people who run and work out abundantly.
