The Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland, already holds two Premier League scoring records and nine goals after five matches.
Hat-tricks of two. 5-day period. Erling Haaland – The Record Breaker!
At Manchester City, Erling Haaland has unquestionably had an impact.
Haaland scored three goals in each half of City’s 6-0 win against Nottingham Forest, four days after he scored three goals in the second half to help them come from behind and beat Crystal Palace.
Among Premier League players, he is the only one with nine goals in five games. In addition, he is the first player to score nine goals in August and serves as Julian Alvarez’s extremely effective backup as the latter made his full debut for City with a second-half double.
Haaland seeks not only records but also titles, says Guardiola
The Norwegian has only once scored a hat-trick in back-to-back Premier League games. Only Harry Kane of Tottenham has done that more than once.
Interestingly, Haaland has already scored more Premier League goals in August than Kane, who has seven goals overall.
Like Carlos Tevez and Raheem Sterling, Haaland has also scored many hat-tricks for City. With four goals, only Sergio Aguero has more.
It will be impossible for Haaland to hold the same prominent position in City’s history as Sergio Aguero, according to manager Pep Guardiola.
The Spaniard believes the striker is just as good, but their accomplishments won’t amount to anything unless it benefits the team.
“Nobody can deny City fans’ place in their hearts when Sergio scores the most significant goal in modern history,”
Erling can be there, though. He attempts to do what he has done here in Germany, Austria, and Norway. Knowing him a little, I’m unsure if he’d be content to set records even if we failed to win championships.
He’s a genuine problem for the league right now, according to former Wales defender Ashley Williams. He is challenging to play against and is a complete striker with all the tools.
“We can see how good a striker he is from the goals he has scored this season. He has a knack for scoring goals, so I’m looking forward to seeing him this season because I know he’ll keep scoring.
Response from Football fanatic to Haaland: "Ridiculous skill."
On social media, fans wonder who, or what can stop Haaland after six goals in 60 Premier League minutes.
“Can someone please adjust the difficulty level for Erling Haaland?”
Joe Buzzard tweeted. “Way too easy.”, he added.
The way he’s going @ErlingHaaland will beat @alanshearer’s record before @HKane.

I repeat; This fella is going to break virtually every goal scoring record there is. He’s too big, too quick, clinical in front of goal and he’s playing in a team that create dozens of chances. All he need to do is stay fit. #Haaland

Alvarez also made big rounds
You could tell Guardiola was even more pleased with Alvarez’s role in the team’s most recent triumph as he spoke afterwards.
Argentina forward Lionel Messi has relocated to a different country and continent, but the shift seems seamless, much like for Norwegian forward Erling Haaland.
His skillfully executed double was a testament to a man who has confidence in his ability. Guardiola is thrilled with him.
There isn’t a single person who isn’t pleased with Julian’s two goals, according to Guardiola, who said that his mentor Johan Cruyff’s old buddy Joan Patsy informed him of the 22-year-existence old’s
“He told me a year-and-a-half ago how special he was. He is young, has scored a lot of goals at River Plate, where there is a lot of pressure to win.”
“When he is close to the goal, oh my God. He is so precise. So good,”
“These two new players are so young, they are here and it is like ‘OK, I want to prove myself to the world in the toughest league in the world.”
