India vs Pakistan Highlight | Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja got India's chase back on track, producing three key boundaries in the last over bowled by Haris Rauf to put India on the verge of victory.
India vs Pakistan | In 19.5 overs, Pakistani cricketers scored 147 runs. In response, an Indian cricketer completed the game in only 19.4 overs, where Hardik Pandya led India to a stunning five-wicket victory over Pakistan.
The India captain, Rohit Sharma, chose to bowl first against Pakistan on Sunday after winning the coin toss. After that, the audience went wild, so Rohit had to wait a while before continuing to speak with presenter Sanjay Manjrekar. Finally, Manjrekar had to reiterate Rohit’s decision because the noise was so loud.
The Indian team’s selection of Dinesh Karthik over Rishabh Pant and including Avesh Khan and Arshdeep Singh as starters are big news. Bhuvneshwar Kumar will lead the speed attack. Naseem Shah made his debut for Pakistan, fielding three fast bowlers and two spinners.
Due mainly to Hardik Pandya’s steely nerves, India defeated Pakistan by five wickets at the Dubai International Stadium during Group A of the Asia Cup. The Indian team secured victory with two balls left after Hardik scored three boundaries and a six to finish the chase with 148 runs. With Pandya unbeaten at 33 and Kohli and Jadeja each playing 35 innings, India had a good start in the match.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Hardik Pandya shone with the ball as India bowled Pakistan out for 147 in an earlier Asia Cup 2022 match. Bhuvneshwar and Hardik each recorded three for 25 after India’s call to play Pakistan at the Dubai International Stadium. India’s pacers focused their short ball attacks on Pakistani hitters. Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s wicket of Babar Azam gave India the perfect start to the match.
Bhuvneshwar and Hardik cleaned up the Pakistan tail. However, before Shahnawaz Dahani and Haris Rauf helped Pakistan reach a decent total, Rizwan scored the best with a superb 43. Before this, Dinesh Karthik preferred Rishabh Pant for a spot in India’s starting XI.
When Fakhar Zaman was away from the powerplay by Avesh Khan, Rohit Sharma’s team was in a strong position.
In Virat Kohli’s 100th T20 international, India improved their win-loss record against the arch-rivals to 8-2 after losing their previous match to Pakistan by ten wickets in the T20 World Cup location last year.
With stats of 2-27, Pakistan’s rookie fast bowler Naseem Shah stood out. Still, a foot injury in the final few overs left him limping as India grabbed control with the right-left batting combination of Pandya and Jadeja.
Before being defeated by Nawaz’s left-arm spin, which also defeated captain Rohit Sharma for 12, Virat Kohli had scored 35 points.
Due to several factors, India vs. Pakistan game was extremely low-key. But given how things have worked out, the expectancy for the two next rematches in this series is likely to be high. So there is nothing better than an exciting Sunday match between India and Pakistan.
Hardik Pandya was named the game’s Man of the match. When bowling, you need to analyse the situation and use your weapons. My strengths have been bowling short and hard distances.
Utilizing them effectively and posing the correct inquiries will cause the hitters to make mistakes. Plan ahead of time whenever you are in a chase like this. As far as I know, there is a left-arm spinner and a young bowler on the team.
Even if we had required 15, I would have believed in myself even if we just needed seven off the final over. But, in the 20th century, I know the bowler was under more significant pressure than I was. So I attempt to maintain simplicity.
India Skipper Rohit Sharma said
We were still assured that we could win the race even halfway through. These things can happen when you hold the belief that you did. So it’s essential to clarify the guy’s roles to do them effectively.
It was a little tricky, but I’ll take victory like this over typical ones any day. Yes, India’s fast bowlers have advanced significantly in the past year and shown excellent flexibility. However, Hardik has been flawless ever since he made his comeback.
Hardik worked out what he needed to do to his best and his workout routine while Hardik wasn’t on the squad, and now he clocks 140+ easily. We all recognize his excellent batting ability, which has continued since his comeback. He is much more at ease & sure of what he wants to do, whether with the ball or the bat.
We saw today with those short balls that he can bowl quickly. It was always just a matter of comprehending his style of play, and he’s doing it now. Of course, you can panic in a high-stress chase where ten rpo are required, but he never displayed any signs of that.
Ravindra Jadeja expressed
“I’m grateful. They have a vigorous bowling assault, and their fast bowlers don’t give much up, so we wanted to play to the end. Left-arm spinner versus left-hander, I could have won the match, but Hardik performed outstandingly. When Pandya came out, he declared that he would play his shots and expressed gratitude for staying to the end.”
Babar Azam | The captain of Pakistan:
We made a tremendous start with the ball. We were lacking by 10 to 15 runs. Bowlers did a great job of creating a match out of this.
Our tail did increase slightly to add those helpful runs. The plan was to extend the game and postpone Nawaz’s final over of the match.
The intention was to put pressure, but Hardik did an excellent job. Although Naseem is reasonably young, he bowled well and showed tremendous aggression.
What-a-game! Conflicts between India and Pakistan haven’t recently provided this level of excitement, but today both teams made sure that the ongoing rivalry received another entertaining chapter.
Despite the two-paced nature of this pitch, Babar’s team should be commended for their performance because 147 was undoubtedly below standard. But they managed to stay on and make sure that India had to work hard to accomplish the objective thanks to consistent wickets and some shrewd defensive bowling.
In reality, India still required 59 runs off 34 balls when Surya was bowled by Naseem, and it wasn’t an easy equation under these circumstances. But India’s all-rounder team showed up, with Jadeja initially hitting the barrier in a calculated manner and Hardik stamping his authority at the finish with a barrage of jaw-dropping strokes.
Even though just 7 runs were required, there was considerable drama in the last over when Jadeja was out on the first ball and another dot ball reduced the score to 6 off 3. However, Hardik 2.0 simply doesn’t care and ends the game with the following ball.
