At the Dome, NSCI SVP Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday, Jaipur Pink Panthers and Puneri Paltan engaged in a high-octane final, but the former made sure they maintained the advantage for the majority of the game and prevailed 33-29 to claim the title of Vivo Pro Kabaddi Season 9 champions. With six points each on the night, V Ajith Kumar, Sunil Kumar, and Arjun Deshwal emerged as the Jaipur Pink Panthers’ top scorers.

Puneri Paltan pushed ahead 3-1 as Pankaj Mohite executed a spectacular raid in the game’s first minutes. The Panthers, on the other hand, rallied and tied the game at 3-3. However, in the 9th minute, Arjun Deshwal was tackled by Gaurav Khatri, helping Puneri Paltan retake the lead at 5-4.

The Panthers then tied the game at 6-6 thanks to an improved performance by V Ajith Kumar. Both teams engaged in a tight battle until the 16th minute, when Mohammad Nabibakhsh gave Puneri Paltan the lead at 10-8 with a swift raid and tackle point. However, Sanket Sawant and Gaurav Khatri were surprised by V Ajith Kumar, who enabled the Panthers to take the lead at 12-10 in the 19th minute. On the cusp of halftime, the Panthers could maintain their information at 14-12.

In the 22nd minute, the Panthers attacked Aditya Shinde & inflicted an All-Out to gain a sizable advantage of 18-13. However, Akash Shinde accomplished a multi-point raid, and Puneri Paltan quickly stopped V Ajith Kumar to bring the Panthers’ score to 17–18. Ankush stopped Akash Shinde with a tackle, allowing the Panthers to widen their lead. To keep Puneri Paltan in the game at 20-23, Aditya Shinde quickly surprised Ankush and Sahul Kumar.

However, the Panthers maintained their lead at 27-22 in the 34th minute thanks to a few great tackle points from skipper Sunil Kumar. Puneri Paltan, who was still in the game at 25-29, didn’t give up and tackled Deshwal in the 38th minute.

Afterward, Badal Singh tackled V Ajith Kumar, and Aditya Shinde launched a raid. Still, Puneri Paltan could not tie the score as the Panthers held a 31-29 benefit in the game’s final seconds. The Panthers then executed their strategy flawlessly in the last few seconds of the game to win their second Vivo Pro Kabaddi championship.
