PAK vs ZIM Highlights
On Thursday, Zimbabwe pulled off one of the greatest T20 World Cup upsets.
Zimbabwe played outstandingly in Perth to defeat Pakistan by one run in a game for the ICC T20 World Cup 2022, which came down to the final delivery.
Sikandar Raza was the mastermind behind this remarkable victory. Raza has awarded player of the game, and during the post-game presentation, he sobbed as he accepted the trophy.
Sikandar Raza, a talented all-rounder for Zimbabwe, removed Shadab Khan and Haider Ali with two wickets in two deliveries.
He then had Masood stumped in his very subsequent over to give Zimbabwe hope and set up a thrilling finale.
Pakistan needed 11 runs off the final over to win, and with Mohammad Nawaz at the crease, that equation came down to three from three.
25-year-old Brad Evans delivered three breathtaking pitches just when it mattered. He first fizzed through a quick bouncer with which Nawaz could not make contact.
Nawaz was caught at mid-off by skipper Craig Ervine after a mistake off the penultimate ball, causing both batsmen to fall to their knees and causing heartbreak for Nawaz for the second straight game.
Shaheen Shah Afridi punted the final ball down the field while tearing back in a last-ditch effort to score another run and tie the game.
Regis Chakabva, the wicketkeeper, initially botched the throw but recovered to whip out the bails with Afridi still short of his ground, setting off festive scenes among the Zimbabwe players and fans.

Pakistan’s Poor Response
Despite a cautious start by Pakistan in their pursuit of the winning total of 131 runs, Zimbabwe managed to get within striking distance and two crucial Powerplay wickets that fell for cheap.
Brad Evans bowled a beautiful delivery that squared up Babar Azam, who was out for just four runs off nine balls.
Mohammad Rizwan was defeated by the great Blessing Muzarabani using an inside edge for 14 (16).
A potent combination between Shan Masood and Shadab Khan helped Pakistan reach 88/3 with six and a half overs left after Iftikhar Ahmed has also removed.
Sikandar Raza, a talented all-rounder for Zimbabwe, removed Shadab and Haider Ali with two wickets in two balls, and then he stumped Masood in his next over to give his team hope and set up a thrilling finale.
Zimbabwe’s Rapid Start
After deciding to bat first, Zimbabwe got off to a fast start, the eye-catching strokes played by the captain Craig Ervine and the audacious Wessley Madhevere in the opening two overs.
Zimbabwe got off to a fantastic start, scoring ten runs per over, with five boundaries in three overs.
Haris Rauf & his partner were trapped in front of Ervine. He was sent back by Wasim the next over.
Some of the initial moments were blunted. Shadab Khan forced out Milton Shumba before Sean Williams and Sikandar Raza started the resurrection process.
Things swiftly went bad when Shadab returned Williams and Chakabva off succeeding deliveries, with the latter being removed after a sensational capture by Babar Azam at first slip.
Shadab finished a spectacular period of 4-0-23-3, but Zimbabwe was in for more from the opposite end.
After two wickets falling to Shadab in consecutive balls, Zimbabwe lost two more wickets in the next over when Mohammad Wasim removed Raza and Luke Jongwe.
It seemed to be a strong start at 95/3 swiftly changed to 95/7 in Perth as Pakistan’s bowlers went on a rampage.
With a bit of assistance from Brad Evans down the order, they eventually put up 130/8 on the board.
At first, it didn’t seem like it would be enough, but Zimbabwe’s outstanding bowling performance ensured it.
Zimbabwe created one of the greatest World Cup upsets by defeating Pakistan by one run.
