PKL 2022 Highlights | Tamil Thalaivas vs U Mumba

Tamil Thalaivas will face an uphill battle against U Mumba in PKL 9 match 16.

The Haryana Steelers defeated Tamil Thalavias in their most recent encounter. The Tamil Thalaivas lost 27-22 without Pawan Sehrawat.

The game was tense at the Sree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium in Bengaluru, but Haryana came out on top of their aggressive strategy against the Men in Yellow.

Manjeet Dahiya led the Steelers in scoring with eight points. Nitin Rawal, an all-rounder, continued his fine form for Haryana Steelers, while Jaideep Dahiya demonstrated his extraordinary defensive abilities by earning a High 5.

The Thalaivas are in serious need of a raiding renaissance right now.

Pawan Sehrawat, their captain and perhaps Kabaddi’s finest raider got injured in the first game, which they tied with Gujarat. Moreover, the Men in Yellow have failed to win in their last two games.

On Monday, U Mumba recorded their first win of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 9. U Mumba beat UP Yoddhas 30-23 in Match 10, Raiders Guman Singh and Jai Bhagwan.

In the match, Bhagwan scored 6 points, and Guman scored 5.

The U Mumba defense unit performed admirably in PKL 9, and they will be aiming for the same against the Tamil Thalaivas. However, the U Mumba raiders tread gingerly in their first two PKL 2022 encounters.

PKL 2022 Highlights | Gujarat Giants vs Puneri Paltan

Both Gujarat Giants and Puneri Paltan will be looking for their first win of the PKL 9 in the night’s last encounter. Both teams have had forgettable performances thus far in the current season.

Giants and Paltan will be hoping to boost the ante and earn their first-season victory.

Gujarat Giants are now at the bottom of the PKL table with three points, and they will need some motivation to put up a solid performance.

Delhi annihilated the Giants’ defense in their last encounter. However, the giants were powerless in the face of the pulsating reigning champions Dabang Delhi KC, who leaked scores for pleasure.

On Monday, Delhi beat Gujarat Giants 53-33 at the Shree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium in Bengaluru. Naveen Kumar and Manjeet led the assault for Delhi, both recording Super 10s.

Gujarat will face a difficult job against Puneri Paltan, who showed tremendous bravery in their last encounter.

Puneri Paltan was barely beaten 39-41 by host side Bengaluru Bulls in Match 9 on Sunday.

Bengaluru Bulls led by 14 points in the half, raiders Vikash Kandola and Bharat, but Puneri Paltan’s Aslam Inamdar and Mohit Goyat weren’t about to give up.

They fired in the second half and tied the game at 35-35. However, Kandola and Bharat ensured that the Bulls emerged victorious, with the final score reading 41-39.

Again, it will be up to Paltan’s Aslam Inamdar and Mohit Goyat to contribute raid points. And, considering the state of both teams, Puneri will be the favorite to win this one.
