Ronaldo also grabbed center stage throughout the game, but for the contrary reasons, as he wasted two golden chances in the early going. Instead, The fallout from Ronaldo’s contentious interview last week continued during the game’s build-up.

Danilo Pereira, a Portuguese defender, failed to intercept a cutback from the desperate Mohammed Kudus, which permitted Ghana’s Ayew to score from adjacent range, bringing the result to an interim tie.

However, Joao Cancelo made a mistake that allowed Bukari to score again & there was a significant scare when Williams robbed Costa at the very end.
Portugal, who held on, rose to the top of Group H due to their victory. However, Ronaldo managed to take a break while still vying for the one championship he had yet to win.
