Monu Goyat’s superb all-around performance gave the Telugu Titans their first victory over the Patna Pirates on Tuesday when they upset the Patna Pirates 30-21 in the second game of the night at Bengaluru’s Shree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium.
Monu Goyat and Sachin keep the scoreboard ticking throughout the game.
Both teams had 13 points until the Pirates scored their first tackle points of the game.
From there, the Titans and Goyat took control. The seasoned Raider kept destroying the Pirates’ defense, snapping additional points.
A Titans Super Tackle broke open a close game, giving the Titans a 10-9 advantage.
Their slender lead was increased by Goyat’s subsequent raid, a two-point raid that culminated in the match’s first and only all-out. The Telugu Titans lead 21-13 at halftime.

The Haryana Steelers defeated the Tamil Thalaivas 27-22
On match day 5 of Vivo Pro Kabaddi 2022, three-time champion Patna Pirates, Tamil Thalaivas, and Telugu Titans all seek to win their first game.
On Tuesday, the Thalaivas will meet the Haryana Steelers in the first game, while the Pirates will face the Titans in the second.
Patna Pirates and Tamil Thalaivas began their campaigns in the ninth edition of the championship with draws against Puneri Paltan (34-all) and Gujarat Giants (31-all). On the other hand, Patna was defeated 35-30 on Sunday by the inaugural champions, the Jaipur Pink Panthers.
Meanwhile, Haryana trounced Bengal Warriors 41-33 in their lone outing of the season.
Dabang Delhi KC, the defending champion, currently leads the points table.
The Delhi Capitals and the Bengaluru Bulls have won two games in a row, with the Naveen Kumar-led team leading by a single point.
With six points apiece, Jaipur Pink Panthers and UP Yoddhas are the following two teams in the points table.

Haryana Steelers defeated Pawan Sehrawat’s Tamil Thalaivas 27-22 in the Vivo Pro Kabaddi 2022 opener (PKL 9). Haryana Steelers extended their winning streak in Pro Kabaddi League Season 9 by defeating Tamil Thalaivas 27-22 in the evening opening game on Tuesday at the Shree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium in Bengaluru.
Raider Manjeet Dahiya shined once more for the Steelers, scoring 8 points. Nitin Rawal, an all-rounder, continued his fine form for Haryana Steelers, while Jaideep demonstrated his outstanding defensive performance, earning a super 5.
Manjeet began the game with a successful raid, giving the Steelers an early lead.
He was intercepted by right corner Sagar a minute later, and Tamil Thalaivas seized the lead.
