Matchday 6 of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 9 (PKL 9) was another blockbuster.

In the 2nd game of the day, reigning champions Dabang Delhi KC defeated UP Yoddhas 44-42 in a high-scoring thriller.

Dabang Delhi is undefeated in PKL 9 with this victory. On the other hand, the Bengaluru Bulls suffered their first season setback, losing 33-42 against the Bengal Warriors.

Both matches on October 12 were contested in Bengaluru’s Shree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium.

Each team has eased into the tournament and delivers high-quality action on the mat after 15 matches.

Dabang Delhi captain Naveen Kumar presently leads the raid points table with 28 points, while Krishan, also from Delhi, has the most tackle points (11) thus far in the competition.

Pro Kabaddi League 2022: Brief

The Bengaluru Bulls are riding high following a dramatic 41-39 victory against Puneri Paltan, but their next opponent will be Maninder Singh and Deepak Hooda of the Bengal Warriors.

Maninder and Deepak scored 22 points each to help his side upset the Telugu Titans in their most recent encounter.

To make it 3 victories in one row for the Bulls, Vikash Kandola and Bharat must step up once more, while their defense must sustain the tempo throughout the game.

The bulls’ defense had been caught off guard in their previous encounter against Paltan when Aslam Inamdar and Mohit Goyat sliced their double-figure advantage to tie the game.

They will want to manage the game’s tempo to avoid making that error against the Warriors.

During Season 7, champions Bengal will aim to maintain momentum against the Season 6 champions Bengaluru.

In their most recent encounter, Bengal Warriors’ skipper Maninder Singh and Deepak Hooda were on fire, helping the team overcome Telugu Titans 45-25.

The Warriors, who never appeared out of control, scored the most points for the first time this season. And they’ll try to replicate that performance against the Bulls.

Captain Maninder Singh led the Warriors in scoring 11 points, while raider Shrikant Jadhav chipped in with six.

Girish Maruti Ernak made two excellent tackles as the Bengal Warriors took a 3-1 lead.

Aman tackled Shrikant Jadhav, and Bharat performed a raid to enable the Bulls to take a 5-4 lead in the 10th minute.

In the 12th minute, the Bengaluru defense, headed by Aman, reduced the Warriors to only two men on the mat.

Following that, the Bulls scored an all-out in the 17th minute to take a commanding 14-9 lead.

The Warriors came storming back thanks to spectacular raids by Maninder Singh and recovered the lead at 15-14 at the interval.

The Bengals capitalized on the momentum & imposed an all-out in the first few minutes of the 2nd half to increase their advantage to 20-17.

Maninder continued to provide raid points as the Warriors took a 9-point lead in the 28th minute, 27-18.

Bengal then administered another all-out to seize total control of the contest.

Vikash Kandola led a few raids in the final few minutes, but Bengaluru couldn’t catch up to the Warriors. The Bengal squad maintained its lead.
