Ravindra Jadeja has apparently cut all binds with the Chennai Super Kings ownership group and the management.
Ravindra Jadeja had no correspondence with the CSK franchise since IPL 2022.
The best star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is set to end his longstanding association with Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League except if something ‘miraculous’ happens in the next couple of months as per the reports by the Times of India. Jadeja hasn’t been in contact with the CSK franchise since the end of the Indian Premier League 2022.
Jadeja appears to have cut all binds with the CSK ownership group and the team from the finish of IPL’s 15th edition on May 29. According to a TOI report, the veteran India cricketer has had no correspondence with the Chennai Super Kings-based franchise.
Jadeja was given over the captaincy by MS Dhoni at the beginning of IPL 2022.However, the reigning champs got off to a woeful start and figured out only two wins of the initial eight matches before Dhoni was reappointed as the captain of the team.
While Jadeja has not spoken about CSK’s choice to eliminate him from captaincy yet, his new actions via social media have shown he isn’t happy with the CSK team management.
The report additionally referenced that the 33-year-old has kept CSK in the “dark” of his future with them, taking no part in any of their on or off-field activities.
Throughout recent months, CSK in general, to a great extent, stayed away from Ravindra Jadeja via social media, making no honourable mention of him in any of their component videos and pictures that they post for their energetic fanbase.
The back and forth is being taken as the idea of a crack between the two parties, with their organization probably concluding ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023.
Have Ravindra Jadeja and Chennai Super Kings made their ways apart?
The dispute here is Ravindra Jadeja had been removed from the captaincy of CSK after only eight matches of IPL 2022. While the franchise’s assertion referenced it was Jadeja who asked MS Dhoni to get back to the steerage and permit him to recover from the rib injury.
Jadeja never made an official statement on the captaincy shuffle. TOI report said Jadeja took the captaincy change as an “Insult” and chose to cut off all associations with CSK when he was out of the IPL 2022 with a rib injury after ten matches.
“Since the time he left the team in Mumbai in mid-May, the franchise has been not able to figure out the distinctions,”
the report referred.
While CSK’s social media group has excluded Jadeja from the posts they have on their social media whereas Jadeja has erased all his CSK-related posts over the past recent months. He was the main player missing from CSK’s salutary video made on Dhoni’s birthday on July 7.
Jadeja has been associated with CSK since IPL 2012 and has played a total of 142 matches for the four-time IPL champions. Jadeja has brought two IPL championships with CSK since joining the team in 2012.
He played for Gujarat Lions in 2016 and 2017, when CSK was banned from the competition. The Indian all-rounder has played a key role in the CSK line-up and had an impact on their winnings starting around 2018. However, he is probably not going to go on with the four-time champions from the following season.
Dhoni played a significant role in Jadeja’s growth so far, both at the international level and in IPL. Yet again, with Dhoni set to lead CSK again, it’s improbable that Jadeja will be reappointed as captain but CSK might try to convince him to stay on and sort out the differences.
