    Champions League Final-Round Permutations

    Group A

The top two slots have been secured by Napoli and Liverpool, with the Italian team having 15 points and the English squad having 12.

The last game between the two teams will determine the group champion in Liverpool the following week.

Before their encounter against Rangers, who are without a point, Ajax, who has three points, is nearly confident of a Europa League position.

    Group B

Similar to this scenario, Porto (9) and Club Brugge (10) have reserved their places for the knockout stage, but group winner has yet to emerge.

After that, the Belgians will travel to Bayer Leverkusen, one point below Atletico, while Porto will face Atletico Madrid, presently in the Europa League slot.

For Brugge to take 1st place, a triumph or even a draw against Leverkusen might be sufficient.

    Group C

Bayern Munich has clinched the top spot with a perfect record after five games, so everything is set.

Barcelona will compete in the Europa League as Inter Milan, who is in the second position with 10 points, also advances. Without a topic, Viktoria Plzen is last.

    Group D

On the penultimate matchday of this group, a hectic evening awaits with all four sides still in the running.

Tottenham Hotspur, who are in first place with eight points, go to Olympique Marseille, who are in last place with six points, needing either a win or a draw to advance.

Second-place Sporting Lisbon and Eintracht Frankfurt, with seven points, are in between them and will face off.

If Tottenham loses and the other two teams draw, Marseille would take first place in the group with nine points, while the other three clubs would tie on eight.

In that case, a win and a draw against the Londoners would allow Sporting to advance to second place. The Europa League would therefore be Spurs’ fate.

    Group E

Before their final group match against Dinamo Zagreb, who have the best chance of qualifying for the Europa League, Chelsea, the 2021 champions, are already through and in first place.

With Salzburg and AC Milan going head-to-head for the second slot, all the Italians need is a draw at the San Siro.

    Group F

Defending champions Real Madrid has qualified, but the group’s victor has yet to emerge. With 10 points, they are in first place and take on the bottom-of-the-table Celtic.

To advance, RB Leipzig, who has nine points, goes to Shakhtar Donetsk, who has six. Both teams would be on nine after a Shakhtar victory, with Shakhtar improving their head-to-head record.

    Group G

Manchester City has ensured that they will finish first in this group. Due to their head-to-head record, Borussia Dortmund, who is three points behind City, also advances.

Sevilla has assured a place in the Europa League with five points but, as said above, cannot surpass Dortmund. Copenhagen, who finished last, has already lost.

    Group H

Although Benfica and Paris St. Germain both have 11 points and an even head-to-head record after two 1-1 drawl, they have already qualified for the group stage.

The French team will take on Juventus, who are currently in third place with three points and are battling for a berth in the Europa League after a poor season.

To finish third ahead of the Italians, Maccabi Haifa, which plays Benfica, travels to Lisbon on three. PSG and Benfica each have a +8 goal differential.
