Despite the big-money signing of Brazil winger Antony, Jadon Sancho fired Manchester United to a 1-0 win at Leicester on Thursday.

England has shown he still has a role to play despite the high-profile purchase of Brazilian winger Antony as Jadon Sancho scored the game’s only goal as Manchester United defeated Leicester 1-0 on Thursday.

England has shown he still has a role to play despite the high-profile purchase of Brazilian winger Antony as Jadon Sancho scored the game’s only goal as Manchester United defeated Leicester 1-0 on Thursday. In the first half, Sancho scored to give United their third straight Premier League victory.

The 22-year-old Antony worked with United manager Erik ten Hag at Amsterdam, and he appears to be a regular in Sancho’s current position on the right wing.

With his second goal of the year, Sancho did his best to remind Ten Hag of his strengths.

United climbed up to the fifth place and is now only one point below the top four as Ten Hag starts to show some promise following a disastrous first few months in charge.

United has risen off the bottom of the standings without appearing very convincing, having been defeated by Brighton and Brentford in the first two games of the Ten Hag administration.

United has risen off the bottom of the standings without appearing very convincing, having been defeated by Brighton and Brentford in the first two games of the Ten Hag administration.

However, Ten Hag was pleased with his team’s most recent expression of energy and persistence he required after the 4-0 defeat at Brentford.

“I’m pleased because it’s a start in the right direction. We worked well together. On the field, we had 11 players who supported one another and scored a beautiful team goal,”

according to Ten Hag.

“It is imperative that the team develops their skills and meets expectations this season. We ought to have added a second goal if we had made better choices. Instead, we must exercise more brutality.

Since United made no changes from the 1-0 victory over Southampton last weekend, Cristiano Ronaldo was limited to a third straight game as a second-half substitute.

Ronaldo wanted to leave Manchester United before the transfer window closed on Thursday. Still, the Portugal star was unable to find a suitor prepared to pay the club’s asking price and able to provide Champions League football.

The 37-year-old striker and Ten Hag claim they are “on the same page” regarding his position, but Antony’s arrival may further reduce Ronaldo’s playing time.

The attacking trio for United is Sancho, Marcus Rashford, and Anthony Elanga because the Brazilian failed to sign in time to play against the Foxes.

“We required both numbers and a strong squad. There are numerous games to discuss. It will improve much more when Cristiano and Casemiro get fitter”

said Ten Hag.

“After practice, we’ll check with Anthony to see if he prepared for Sunday’s game against Arsenal.”

Sancho clarifies his position.

In the 23rd minute, Rashford and Bruno Fernandes worked together to split the Leicester defence, and Sancho then manoeuvred around Danny Ward to score.

As a result of winning just one game in their first five games, Leicester is in last place—their worst start since 1994.

Foxes manager Brendan Rodgers has lamented the unsettling environment brought on by players looking to go.

Wesley Fofana, a French defender who was one of those uneasy stars, signed for Chelsea moments before the transfer window closed.

The immediate future of Youri Tielemans was also decided as the Leicester midfielder, who had linked to Arsenal and Newcastle, started for Rodgers’ team.

“The truth is that we are off to a bad start. Undoubtedly, our circumstances haven’t been favourable to us”

Added Rodgers.

“We won’t remain anonymous. Hopefully, the window shutting will reunite that mentality and focus. We lack quality, and there was nothing we could do about it in the window.”
